The Maayun Room – named after the Kei word for to love – welcomes you like an embrace. Soft daylight pours in through flowing white curtains, brushing the pale wooden walls with warmth. The bamboo ceiling, handwoven in the island tradition, forms a delicate shelter above the bed.
Every element here speaks of care: the lace-like mirror, the woven rattan table, the simple, elegant chairs. On the wall, a carved face watches gently. Presence. Memory.
To sleep in Maayun is to rest within a quiet tenderness. A space for walking barefoot, for slowing down, for being fully present.
Private Bathroom – Nuhu
A forest-facing sanctuary on the ground floor
Tucked away on the ground floor, Nuhu’s private bathroom is a handcrafted retreat rooted in natural beauty. Behind a rustic wooden door lies a hand-sculpted cement sink, resting on a counter lined with elegant geometric tiles that reflect the simplicity of island living.
White lime-plastered walls, studded with emerald glass inlays, cast a gentle, filtered light across the space. Through the windows opening onto the forest, lush greenery frames the scene in tranquil stillness.
A walk-in pebble shower with a built-in bench completes this oasis—designed for slow rituals, deep breaths, and grounding presence. Raw, refined, and in tune with the land.
